This article is titled “Being a Vegetarian in College.” The article talks about the benefits of being a vegetarian and some difficulties that come along with it. It relates to my research topic because there is a section of it where the author interviews a vegetarian at University of North Carolina Wilmington and she talks about how it is so expensive to be a college vegetarian. I am going to use this in my paper and additionally talk about the extreme expenses of college and how it really leaves no extra spending money for eating outside the dining halls. Some of my article is about why being a vegetarian is beneficial and that is information I will not use in my paper. The reason for this is that I am not writing this paper to convince my reader to be a vegetarian or not to be, I am writing this paper to show the difficulties of being a vegetarian or vegan on college campuses as well as the advancements of vegetarian and vegan options. This article will be valuable to my paper and different from other articles because it uses statistics and first hand experiences.
