Personal Narrative Outline-->

Things to Consider for this Paper:

1. Yes. Although my couch is a small area and there isn’t too much to describe about it the audience will have a visual picture of what it looks like

2. I will be credible because I will be the one narrating it, as I am the one living it.

3. The way I will incorporate my essay to be something new instead of just the boring old cliché, is the way the characters and emotions in each time period will be different, but it will meet full swing in the end. For example, in the beginning both my siblings and parents will be there and there will be a sense of unity and happiness. However, as several years pass the couch will just be filled with me and my mom as my siblings and dad both left for different reasons. This time period is going to be filled with a feeling that something is missing and isn’t the same. Then, in my final time period I am going to have the story come full circle and have everyone visiting for Christmas and we all sit on the couch opening presents, a full unit again.

4. My intended audience is probably for young adults. I feel like the way I write is pretty straight forward and I think that appeals to a lot of young adults because it’s not like they have to read a sentence and wonder what is happening, I like to just straight up say what is happening.

5. My intended readers will have a strong sense of family. I am tapping into the world because I am trying to point out that although every family is extremely dysfunctional and things can change all the time, at the end of the day you will always be family no matter what happens.
